Children’s Ministry at Redeemer
Our vision is to help parents in the spiritual nurture of their children by seeing children GROW as disciples and GO make disciples.
KNOW JESUS, FOLLOW JESUS, AND SHARE JESUS
We desire for the children of Redeemer…
To KNOW JESUS through the story of God’s rescue: God’s family is called to tell the Gospel story from generation to generation. We are committed to telling God’s story of creation, fall, redemption to our children trusting that through this they will encounter the person of Jesus Christ.
To FOLLOW JESUS by knowing our place in his story: We desire that our children know their place in God’s story, and we encourage them to follow Jesus faithfully in all areas of their life.
To SHARE JESUS the story and love of JESUS: From a young age, we want our children to have opportunities to serve and share God’s story with others.

Redeemer is currently using the Show Me Jesus Sunday School curriculum by Great Commission Publishing (gcp.org). We are very excited about the scope and sequence of the Show Me Jesus curriculum; it is thoughtfully and purposefully planned with children, parents, and teachers in mind. The children will cycle through the whole of Scripture every two years. We want to work together with you to help your child to KNOW Jesus, FOLLOW Jesus and SHARE Jesus. The stated goal of the curriculum is: “All of scripture is the unfolding story of salvation and Jesus is its focus. We show how Jesus, revealed throughout the Bible, came to seek and save the lost.”
Children’s Church
Children ages Pre-k (4 year olds) and Kindergarteners (5/6 year olds) are invited to go to Children’s Church during the Song of Preparation before the sermon at the 10:00 am service. Children’s Church consists of a lesson, singing, and an opportunity for students to meet the Elder of the week. This is an optional activity that will help to prepare your child for participating in the full worship service.
Volunteers
All volunteers in the Nursery, as well as all Sunday School teachers and volunteers are required to complete a staff screening and background check prior to serving in the children’s ministry program.
Nursery
At the 10:00 a.m. service, we offer childcare for children ages 3 and under.
Parents and Nursing Moms: We also have a nursing mother's room available on the lower level. Changing tables and changing supplies are also available on the lower level. Our nursery coordinator will be happy to answer any questions and help you get settled.
